Authorities of the General Secondary School No. 2 in Pachuca reject the donation of a fraction of the campus land for the construction of a Welfare Bank.
The arrival of personnel to carry out measurements within the school grounds, last week, displeased the school community, who demanded the position of the campus authorities.

Through a letter, the director José Luis Hernández Hernández explained to the parents that since March 23 he received the indication from the state educational authorities to attend to Welfare personnel and allow them to review the land.
In case the technical requirements are met, the Welfare staff will make a request for the donation of the land consisting of 600 square meters to the SEPH and Secondary School 2.
However, the donation proposal does not satisfy the management because it would not imply a benefit for the school, since Bienestar reported that there is no budget or program to attend to the needs that this secondary school has.

It was reported that on March 31, at a meeting of the management with representatives of parents, the President of the School Council for Social Participation, the student society, and the government representative, the decision was made not to donate the land.
“My position regarding this probable request for the donation of the land is to inform you in a timely manner, agree on the decision and request your support to respond firmly to the denial of donation,” said the director of the General High School No. 2
It should be noted that in the capital of Hidalgo there are three branches of the Banco de Bienestar: in Avenida Revolución, in Centro and another in C. Doria.

Just last week, the donation decree for the construction and operation of a branch of Banco del Bienestar was published in the Official State Newspaper (POEH), regarding two Fractions of land that were part of the Venta Prieta Military Camp.
