Oppo didn’t just present a new folding clamshell phone, it also came up with official premiere a new and really very nice looking smart watch called Watch 4 Pro. This year’s model is very similar to the older Watch 3 Pro, but Oppo also improved it. The aluminum construction was replaced by significantly more durable and robust stainless steel, but the weight increased by about 15 grams. The manufacturer has brushed the aforementioned steel, so the watch looks very elegant from the side, which is also helped by the serrated crown. The lower part of the watch is ceramic so that it does not irritate the skin in any way.
You will also be interested in the traditionally slightly curved display, in the vertical direction. It is a 1.91″ AMOLED LTPO panel with a resolution of 378 × 496 pixels. The watch is equipped with several sensors that offer you the possibility of a 60-second examination of your state of health. There will be an examination of blood vessels, including their age, ECG measurement, heart rate, stress level and sleep quality. There’s also the option to monitor your blood sugar level, and if it deviates from normal, an alarm will sound. The Watch 4 Pro can also measure your body temperature through the skin, with an accuracy of 0.1 °C. Everything can be measured, of course even during various sports activities.There is also water resistance up to 5 ATM.

Two processors take care of the performance of the watch. There is a Snapdragon W5+ for smart functions, and a BES 2700 for maximum energy saving. This year, Oppo increased the operating memory to 2 GB, leaving the 32 GB internal memory unchanged. The watch has a battery with a capacity of 570 mAh, which promises 5 days with normal use and 2.5 days with very intensive use of the watch. The maximum energy saving mode will extend the battery life for up to several weeks. A plus is fast charging, when just 10 minutes on the charger ensures a whole day’s endurance. It takes just over an hour to fully charge the battery.
The watch is quite well equipped in terms of connectivity. They even support eSIM, which gives them 4G and a certain independence from the paired phone. There is also GPS, Wi-Fi 5.0 or NFC.
Oppo Watch 4 Pro will go on sale in the Chinese market next week, and the price is set at 9,000 crowns including tax. However, the manufacturer does not provide any information regarding availability in other markets.
