OPPO earlier this year launched its flagship smartphone, the OPPO Reno5 Pro. Unfortunately, OPPO did not bring the smartphone to the Indonesian market. As we know, OPPO only markets OPPO Reno5, OPPO Reno5 5G and OPPO Reno5 F in the Indonesian market.
Yes! OPPO Reno5 Pro focuses on camera design and features. Now, OPPO is getting ready to launch its next generation, the OPPO Reno6 Pro, which of course will be under the OPPO Reno6 series. The OPPO Reno6 Series will be open in China on May 27 and ready to launch in India in July.
It was TechRadar in India reporting this and the launch schedule was confirmed as well, but there is a possibility of last-minute changes due to supply chain constraints. It is possible that OPPO will also launch OPPO Reno6 and Reno6 Plus, apart from of course the OPPO Reno6 Pro.
However, it must be seen which smartphones will be officially launched in the Indian market. Yes! So far, OPPO has not launched a high-end premium smartphone in India. The last device announced by OPPO is Find X2.
OPPO Reno6 Pro is expected to come with 5G network support and have a FullHD + AMOLED screen with a diagonal span of 6.55 inches. OPPO is also expected to equip this smartphone with an on-screen fingerprint scanner, aka in-display fingerprint.
As already mentioned, OPPO designed the OPPO Reno5 Pro with reliable camera support. Of course, this characteristic will not be released by OPPO on the Reno6 Pro. Having a quad-camera setup on the back, the Reno6 Pro will probably be equipped with a 50 MP main camera with an IMX766 sensor.
The 50 MP main camera on the Reno6 Pro will be side by side with a 16 MP ultra-wide lens, a 16 MP telephoto lens and a 2 MP macro camera. Meanwhile, on the front side, this smartphone is expected to have a 32 MP front camera which of course can be relied on when taking selfies or video call needs.
What about the power supply support? Not a few doubts that OPPO will equip this smartphone with a 4,500 mAh capacity battery, and of course with support for 65W fast charging. The Reno 6 is expected to pack a Dimensity 900 while the Pro variant will be powered by the Dimensity 1200 chipset.
