Oppo Reno5 Ready to Use 5G Network in Indonesia : Okezone techno

APPOINTLY Oppo’s 5G device which was introduced last January 2021, finally got a software update to unlock the capabilities 5G network.

The update is visible through an update notification on August 9, 2021.

For users, it is enough to connect the device to a mobile network or use wifi. Then check it on the software update menu which is located in the device settings options.

“We are updating the Reno5 5G software, this update will open the option of using the 5G network as well as updating the Android Security Patch in August 2021,” said Aryo Meidianto A, PR Manager of OPPO Indonesia, in a written statement.

Users can simply check regularly through device settings to get updates. The size of the downloaded file is around 300 MB or more.

This update to open the 5G network means OPPO users who are in areas where the operator has deployed a 5G network.

To find out which areas have deployed the 5th generation network, users can visit the sites of each operator to get more information.

In addition to opening up the 5G network, this software update also applies various improvements, such as improving the stability of the camera application, fixing the application crash issue, optimizing the gesture feature, increasing the accuracy of step counting and increasing the success of the clone phone feature.

Reno5 5G is the first 5G device that Oppo introduced in early 2021. This device brings a high-end Snapdragon 765G processor, 8GB of large memory and 128GB of internal storage.

The device is also equipped with 65 Watt SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. Meanwhile, for the 5G network, this device has compatibility with the N40 band or 2300 Mhz network which is commonly used in Indonesia.
