Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Oppo has introduced the Reno5 5G cellphone, which sells for Rp.6,999 million starting January 25, 2020. Apart from relying on 5G technology, Oppo also relies on the ability camera Reno5 to attract consumers in Indonesia.
The Reno5 5G is known to have four cameras on the back, namely a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera. 2MP macro camera, and 2MP mono camera.
Meanwhile, on the front, the Reno5 5G has a 44MP camera.
PR Manager of OPPO Indonesia, Aryo Meidianto claims that the Reno5 5G front and rear cameras are equipped with Full Dimension Fusion (FDF) Portrait Video System technology, an imaging system designed for superior portrait video effects.
The FDF Portrait Video System consists of two engines, namely the Quality Enhancement Engine and the Portrait Perception Engine. The Quality Boost engine helps capture clear videos in any condition, whether it’s night conditions or strong backlight while moving or standing still.
The Portrait Perception Engine defines very detailed criteria for portrait effects to naturally process human subjects and background videos.
In addition to the FDF Portrait Video System, the Reno5 5G is also equipped with AI Highlight Video, a feature that allows the camera to automatically detect ambient light and improve video quality by applying the Ultra Night Video algorithm and the Live HDR algorithm.
In dark environmental scenarios, the Ultra Night Video algorithm is claimed to be activated automatically to brighten the environment. Whereas in a strong backlight scenario, the Live HDR algorithm will activate to reduce areas that are too bright.
These two functions are ultimately said to produce videos with better exposure and brightness, less noise, and clear and natural colors with just one click of the ‘AI’ button when in video mode.
Another technology embedded in the Reno5 5G camera is Portrait Beautification Video, a feature that can detect 194 facial feature points to provide facial optimization that is tailored specifically for each individual.
In this feature, there are 8 tools that can be adjusted to enhance facial details. Users also have access to various beauty effects for group videos.
The Dual-view Video feature on the Reno5 5G camera also allows video to be captured from the front and rear cameras simultaneously. This feature is claimed to be suitable for vloggers and content creators.
The presence of the OPPO Image-clear Engine on the Reno5 5G is also claimed to make shooting performance significant. The system allows users to take clear shots of moving subjects with sharp results.
OPPO Reno5 5G is also supported by the Ultra-clear 108MP Image feature, which can display details and textures in portrait images, and make editing easier.
On the other hand, Oppo also presents the SOLOOP video editing application. The application gives users the option to edit high-quality videos through professional quality video templates and editing tools.
