JAKARTA – PR Manager of Oppo Indonesia, Aryo Meidianto, said that the Reno4 F will be the bontot or the lowest part of the Reno4 series family, namely the Reno4 and Reno4 Pro which have already launched in Indonesia.
“The position of Reno 4F is under Reno4. The highest family is Reno4 Pro, then there is Reno4 and this is the Reno4 F which is more affordable and accessible to more consumers with a wider market,” said Aryo in a virtual press conference, Tuesday.
Oppo Reno4 F, continued Aryo, is targeting a wider market, starting from students, those who are working for the first time, to people who care about the design of smartphone devices to mix with fashion. Aryo admitted that the design that Oppo carried on the Reno4F is indeed one of the main selling points of this device.
Even the letter F that follows the name of the phone comes from the word “Fashionable.” “Some people say this is the F series that didn’t exist in Indonesia before, that’s not the truth. F is Fashionable,” said Aryo.
The Reno4 F is claimed to be the thinnest and slimmest device in its price range, even thinner than the Reno4, which has a thickness of 7.7mm and weighs 165 grams. “We optimize the main board for the Reno4 F as well as the battery that is placed on the body. The Reno4 F has a thickness of 7.48mm, which means 0.22mm thinner than its predecessor Reno4,” explained Aryo.
In terms of design, the Oppo Reno4 F also carries the Shiny Mate color with the back cover coated with an anti-fingerprint coating which is able to present different colors when exposed to light reflection. The cellphone comes in two color choices, namely Matte Black, which is inspired by black like the one in sports cars, and Metalic White which will cause a light blue and pink tinge when exposed to light reflections.
Meanwhile, from the side of the screen, the Reno4 F has a dual punch hole to house the front camera with a diameter of 3.7mm. Comes with a Super AMOLED Display screen, this cellphone has a diagonal screen size of 16.34cm, with a resolution of 2400 x 1800 FHD + with a ratio of 20: 9, a refresh rate of 60Hz, is also equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass and has TuV Rheinland certification for blue light protection on device. Oppo will officially launch the Reno4 F on October 12, 2020.
