Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Oppo Reno 10 series seems to be officially coming to Indonesia in the near future. The middle-class cellphone, the successor to the Oppo Reno 8, was first introduced in China in May 2023.
Oppo Reno 10 was then launched in neighboring Indonesia, Malaysia, on July 7 2023 last week. Finally, the Oppo Reno 10 visited the Indian market on July 10 2023 yesterday.
Oppo Reno 10 indications have arrived in Indonesia seen on the official website of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin). Types with model numbers CPH2521 and CPH2525 already have a Domestic Content Level (TKDN) of 36.35%.
Monitoring by CNBC Indonesia, Tuesday (11/7/2023), the CPH2521 model refers to the Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus. Meanwhile, the CPH2525 model refers to the Oppo Reno 10 Pro model.
For information, Oppo presents 3 variants of Reno 10. Each is the regular, Pro and Pro Plus versions.
If you look at the previous track record, Oppo introduced Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro in August 2022. You could say that it is very likely that the successor to Oppo Reno 10 will also be officially launched in August 2023.
However, there has been no confirmation from Oppo about the launch date for Reno 10 in Indonesia.
Oppo Reno 10 specifications
The difference between the Oppo Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro Plus can be seen in the chipset, battery and fast charging capabilities.
Oppo Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro Plus carry a 6.74-inch AMOLED type screen with FHD Plus resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
This model has curves on the left and right sides, similar to the Oppo Find X6 Pro. There is also a fingerprint scanner feature embedded under the screen.
For the photographic aspect, the three variants have 3 main cameras perched on the back. However, the camera specifications are slightly different.
Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus has a 50MP (f/1.8, 1/1.56-inch, OIS), 8MP (ultrawide, f/2.2) and 64MP (telephoto, 3x optical zoom, 120x digital zoom) resolution camera. The selfie capability relies on a 32MP (f/2.4) camera.
While the Oppo Reno 10 Pro has a 50MP (f/1.8, OIS), 8MP (ultrawide, f/2.2) resolution camera, and 32MP (telephoto, 2x optical zoom, 20x digital zoom).
The regular Oppo Reno 10 variant has a resolution camera of 64MP, 8MP (ultrawide), 32MP (telephoto, 2x optical zoom, 20x digital zoom).
The Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus chipset relies on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of memory. Oppo Reno 10 Pro uses Snapdragon 778G with 12GB RAM and 256GB memory. Meanwhile, the regular Oppo Reno 10 uses MediaTek Dimensity 7050 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The battery is slightly different. Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus has a capacity of 4,700 mAh with a 100W SuperVOOC fast charging feature. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro uses a 4,700 mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC. The standard Oppo Reno 10 uses a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.
