“OPPO Removes Phone Information from German Site Amid European Exit Rumors”

OPPO has pulled all information about its phones and other products from its German website. There have been rumors for some time that the Chinese company wants to leave various European countries. The company denies that.

OPPO phones have not been for sale in Germany for some time due to a legal battle with Nokia, but now all product information has also disappeared from the site, reported Android Police. Op de site it only says that some of the newer phones, such as the foldable Find N2 Flip, will not be available for sale in Germany. Sites in the Netherlands and France are still full of product information about the brand’s smartphones.

It has also recently been rumored that OPPO is preparing its departure from France. Frandroid reported that the contract with a third party for the production of marketing materials will not be renewed. That would indicate that OPPO would leave the country this summer.

OPPO denies that it would leave European countries. “OPPO remains committed to all existing European markets. We had a good start in 2023 with successful launches of several products in Europe and have a lineup of upcoming products for the rest of the year. OPPO will continue to deliver more innovative products and best service for users in the future.”
