The Chinese manufacturer OPPO has released its previously announced Enco Free2 earphones in the Netherlands. The earphones are only available in white and cost 99 euros. The main new feature is active noise canceling.
From Enco Free2 earphones have appeared in OPPO’s own store and will be available at other retailers later on, the manufacturer says. The earphones each have three microphones to pick up ambient noise, in order to be able to filter it. The set-up with three microphones per ear should also allow for better sound quality during calls.
The earphones have 10mm drivers. Each earphone has a 41mAh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, is good for four hours of listening. With the case of 480mAh included, the listening time is twenty hours. It is unknown whether that time is enabled with or without noise canceling. The earphones have an IP54 protection, and are therefore dustproof and protected against rain showers.
In addition to the Free2, OPPO also has the Enco Air, comparable earplugs without noise reduction. They cost 99 euros at release last month, but are now for sale in the OPPO store for 79 euros. The Free2 has been on sale in China since last month, where they came out together with the Reno6 phones.
