Oppo Find N2 will be the lightest horizontal folding phone • Gadget Universe

Oppo is expected to release Find N2 in December in China. After the key specifications circulated some time ago, now the latest rumors say that the successor to the first generation Find N will be the lightest horizontal folding phone in the world.

Oppo Find N2 will be the lightest horizontal folding phone

According to well-known leaker Ice Universe, the Oppo Find N2 will weigh less than 240 grams, that figure is 15 percent lighter than its predecessor which weighs 275 grams. Especially compared to similar devices from other brands such as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Huawei Mate X2, Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 or Vivo X Fold +.

In fact, if the rumors are true, the Oppo Find 2 is lighter than several classic form factor smartphones like iPhone 13/14 Pro Max, ASUS ROG 6D Ultimate and so on. So, you will be able to get a large screen but with almost the same weight as a regular smartphone.

One of the big problems with horizontally folding phones is the weight and thickness. However, Oppo is said to be using a new material to reduce the weight of the Find N2. Yes, even if the weight is still the same as the heaviest regular smartphone, at least it is much lighter than before.

So, per the specs itself, the Oppo Find N2 will come with a 5.5-inch main screen featuring an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the internal screen measures 7.1 inches. Powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset supported by 4750mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

The built-in main camera is said to have a resolution of 50MP with a Sony IMX890 sensor, accompanied by a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 13MP telephoto lens.

For more details, all that remains is to wait for the official launch next month.
