Oppo Encourages Commercialization of 5G in Indonesia Through Cheapest 5G Cellphones

PR Manager of Oppo Indonesia, Aryo Meidianto, said that his party will continue to pour mobile phones that support fifth-generation networks to the country, even though the 5G signal itself is not yet available.

“Apart from the trend of 5G cell phones and we want to bring it here. The hope is that when the 5G network is available, people can immediately feel the speed through the cell phones used,” said Aryo.

Currently Oppo already has four 5G devices in Indonesia, one of them Oppo A74 5G which was released last April. This device is the cheapest 5G phone in Indonesia.

“This device is used to support Indonesia’s 5G ecosystem as well as reinforce Oppo’s position as a pioneer of 5G technology in the country,” said Aryo.

The Oppo A74 5G uses a 6.49 inch LTPS LCD screen and Full HD + resolution. This screen is equipped with the Hyper-color feature which allows users to view photos and videos brighter and clearer. Because the image is displayed in sharper saturation and color accuracy than the previous A series line.

After that, this feature can automatically adjust the screen brightness according to preferences and the time learned from the user.

The phone is made with a body thickness of 8.42 mm and a weight of 190 grams. The back shell has a 3D curved design, which gives it a sleek and modern feel.

Even though this phone is not that thick, the battery that is embedded in it has a capacity of 5,000 mAh. Oppo provides an 18W fast charging feature, it can charge 68% in just 60 minutes.
