OPPO announced three new smartphones on Thursday under the name OPPO Reno4 Series. These are the OPPO Reno 4 PRO, the OPPO Reno 4 and the OPPO Reno4 Z. All devices support the 5G network.
The OPPO Reno4 Pro is the most expensive of the three. The smartphone distinguishes itself mainly with the 48 megapixel camera with a wide-angle lens of 120 degrees. In addition, OPPO claims that even better night shots can be made with a special algorithm.
Furthermore, the smartphone has a 6.5-inch screen, with a resolution of 2400×1080. The refresh rate of the screen is 90Hz. The OPPO Reno4 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space.
The OPPO Reno4 has the same chip, but has to do with a little less. This device comes with 8 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage space. The camera is comparable on paper to that of the Pro. The 6.4-inch screen is slightly smaller, although the number of pixels remains the same at 2400×1080.
The OPPO Reno4 Z is the cheapest model in the series. Concessions have mainly been made in the chip, this is an MTK MT6873V. Furthermore, the phone comes with the same package of RAM (8 GB) storage space (128 GB) as the OPPO Reno4.
Prices and availability
The OPPO Reno 4 Pro is located in the high-end segment and will receive a suggested retail price of 799 euros in the Netherlands. The OPPO Reno4 is priced at 599 euros. The OPPO Reno4 Z is the cheapest and is available from 399 euros.
All three OPPO Reno4 Series devices should be available in the Netherlands from October 12 this year.
