JAKARTA – Different from OPPO Reno Series OPPO A series generally targets the entry level class at a more affordable price.
However, OPPO Indonesia is trying to embed many new features. One of them, SuperVOOC technology which normally is on flagship class phones. What’s so special about it?
Not Battery Size, but Charging Speed
Currently, the size of the battery is no longer a trend. Because, no matter how big the battery will still run out by active users (heavy users).
So, the solution is simple. Not an enlarged battery. But, the charging speed is accelerated. So, consumers don’t have to wait more than 1 hour for their cell phone battery to be fully charged.
33W SuperVOOC Technology Features
Technology OPPO SuperVOOC first introduced in 2014. At that time it was called VOOC flash charging. Introduced in the OPPO Find 7 series. Well, SuperVOOC was only present in 2016. Well, this technology has finally been used in the OPPO A76.
OPPO’s SuperVOOC fast charging system is special because it uses two batteries. So, instead of using a single 5,000 mAh battery, the OPPO A76 is equipped with a 2 cell battery. Like laptops. Each battery has a capacity of 2,500 mAh. This is what makes charging very fast.
In addition, OPPO also uses a special high-capacity VOOC cable, as well as a charger adapter (beam) with a Micro Controller Unit (MCU).
OPPO claims that the OPPO A76 battery can be charged up to 50% in just 31 minutes. In just 5 minutes of charging, users can make phone calls for 3 hours 47 minutes, or watch YouTube for 2 hours 10 minutes.
Protection
Of course, using high current for charging can trigger new problems. First, the matter of heat or increased device temperature. Second, related to battery life so it decreases faster.
