More about the Oppo A53 and A53s

Oppo A53s

Oppo supplies both devices with a 6.5-inch screen and LCD panel. It refreshes a maximum of 90 times per second, which makes it look smooth. Scrolling through your Instagram or Facebook timeline or playing an optimized game is therefore nice and smooth. The resolution of the display is a bit on the low side, so photos or text can appear a bit grainy.

That should benefit the battery life. The battery is 5000mAh and you can charge it with a maximum of 18 Watt. The front camera is in a small hole in the screen and on the back you will find another three sensors. For example, the main camera shoots images of 13 megapixels and there is also a depth sensor on board. You use such a sensor for portrait photos with a blurred background. Finally, you shoot close-ups with the 2-megapixel macro camera.

Both devices run on Android 10 with Oppo’s ColorOS 7.2 shell. That shell has been significantly adjusted compared to stock Android. For example, the appearance has been tinkered with and various own apps have been pre-installed. Whether we also have the Android 11update on smartphones is still unknown.
