OPPO A1 Pro is the first OPPO phone with a 108 megapixel camera

OPPO launched its first 108-megapixel camera phone, OPPO A1 Pro. The terminal is mid-range by definition and carries an atypical design for the Chinese firm, which we rather associate with a Huawei Nova 9, 10 or Huawei P50 Pro. We are dealing with a smartphone with a 6.7 OLED screen inches.

Similarity to a Huawei Nova o Huawei P50Pro stems from that rear camera look, with two circular modules in an oval. The phone tests a laterally curved OLED screen and with Full HD + resolution, but also with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. OPPO A1 Pro is equipped with stereo speakers and adopts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, together with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage.

As special equipment we find a 108 megapixel main camera (the first for OPPO), with a sensor that measures 1/1.67 of an inch and is probably the one produced by Samsung. It has 0.64 micron pixels. The second sensor is much more modest, a 2 MP Bokeh. The 4800 mAh battery recharges at 67W per thread, while on the software side we have Android 13 and ColorOS 13. OPPO A1 Pro is available in black, blue or gold.

It costs from $255 for the version with 8GB of RAM and $325 for the one with 12GB. It also has some features that are rarely found on Chinese phones, such as microSD slot, NFC, all in a 7.7mm thick body and weighing just 171 grams.
