The file was allegedly shot in Harriston, Ontario, which is a small community in the town of Minto 70 km north of Guelph. In the first few seconds, two women in hijabs are walking with a child outside. Moments later, a man is heard off-screen saying, “Where is Nathaniel Veltman when you need him?”

Afterwards, the video makes a panorama showing a white truck passing close to the family and the man off camera who adds “You missed them, go back”.

The city of Minto was quick to respond to the disturbing language video.

“The anti-Muslim sentiment expressed in this disgusting video is abhorrent to residents of Wellington County and the City of Minto, and every effort must be made to speak out against hatred in all its forms,” said Mayor George Bridge in a press release issued jointly with Wellington County, of which the city is a part.

With his van, Nathaniel Veltman, 20, allegedly killed Salman Afzaal, 46, his wife Madiha Salman, 44, their daughter Yumna Afzaal, 15, and Mr. Afzaal’s mother, Talat Afzaal, 74.
