We have to win, just like we won last year, and next year, even though we will have another victory behind us, we have to be here too – said Jerzy Buzek to the participants of Campus Polska Przyszłości. – It is hard to imagine that this government could end before the end of its normal term – Buzek also stated. In his opinion, the current coalition government must survive until the end of its four-year term, because in his opinion, after more than 30 years of transformation, it is needed again. – Because many things have been wasted and dismantled – explained the former prime minister. He pointed out that the institutions and procedures on which democracy is based, “we have to organize almost from scratch today”. – It takes a full four years. I cannot imagine that the coalition could fall apart earlier – he added. Then he referred to Ukraine. – It should be a free, independent country in the EU and NATO – said Buzek. However, he said that Ukraine’s accession to the EU will not be a simple process. As Buzek emphasized, Moldova, Serbia and the countries of the Western Balkans should also join the EU.
