Opinion | The French must be vaccinated faster!

Vaccination against Covid-19 represents the only hope for an exit, in the medium term, both from this pandemic but also from the multifaceted crisis that accompanies it. Our democracy and the credibility of the political class depend on the management of this vaccination. However, to date, the British have injected 945,000 doses, the Germans 238,809 and France 516, according to the CovidTracker website.

Until then, and let us give it to the credit of the governments in charge, the two confinements and the hospital care of the sick have been managed in an efficient and orderly manner. We must also congratulate the French population who, overwhelmingly, respect barrier gestures (especially the mask). The very poor record in Sweden (with proportionately 10 times more deaths than neighboring Norway) and the lack of current epidemic control in Germany put the hasty impressions drawn from the first wave into perspective.
