The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday at 2:00 PM start time (2nd shift).
The Operations Manager has the task of:
- Lead a team of 20-30 employees within a department or process area of the Logistics Center by directing and prioritizing workflow and ensuring frequent communication with the team.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with operational procedures, processes and policies and ensuring the execution of daily operational plans and strategies with success. This includes guiding accountability through methods that promote excellence associated with consistent and fair feedback through coaching and corrective action.
- Leading through methods that create and sustain a positive workplace culture focused on respect, diversity and inclusion, quality, safety and productivity.
- Collaborate with the management team of supervisors and managers throughout the distribution center.
Location requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in shipping, warehousing, distribution and logistics.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership, supervision experience in managing 15 or more hourly employees
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR High school diploma
