Operation Safe Summer sends 8 cyber crime suspects to Manatee Jail

Detectives from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations division and the Internet Crimes Against Children unit conducted an undercover operation called “Operation Safe Summer” during the month of July 2024 targeting adults who were talking to children online.

The investigators revealed that they established communication with the suspects, where the officers were teenagers on various social media platforms and dating websites.

After a long period of electronic communication over the summer, the suspects allegedly traveled to meet the accused at a specific location to engage in various types of sexual activity.

The suspects were identified as:

  • Crisdean Paugh, 43, of Bradenton: He was charged with using a computer to entice or solicit a child, traveling to meet a minor, giving harmful substances to minors.
  • William Henry Finken, 53, of Lutz: was charged with using a computer to entice or solicit a child, traveling to meet a minor for sexual intercourse.
  • Paul Huffstutler, 47, of Bradenton: He was charged with using a computer to attract or solicit a child, traveling to meet a minor for sexual relations.
  • Nitin Singare, 41, of Tampa: Charges of using a computer to entice or solicit a child, traveling to meet a minor, distributing harmful materials to minors.
  • Oscar Muthe-Mora, 27, of Clearwater: He was charged with traveling to meet a minor for sexual intercourse, using a two-way communication device to facilitate a crime.
  • Clenton Pol Chan, 24, of Bradenton: was charged with traveling to meet a minor for sexual intercourse, using a two-way communication device to facilitate a crime.
  • Oscar Alberto-Gonzalez, 25, of Sarasota: He was charged with using a computer to entice or solicit a child, traveling to meet a minor for sex.
  • Sreedhar Yadav, 54, of Temple Terrace: He was charged with using a computer to attract or solicit a minor, traveling to meet a minor, using a two-way communication device to commit a crime make possible

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said detectives regularly conduct operations aimed at catching sex offenders in the act. They are currently following leads on other suspects who are knowingly trying to have sexual relations with teenagers.
