Operation Red Nose Contrecœur Returns to Serve the Community in 2023

November 9, 2023 | By Sylvain Rochon

Operation Red Nose Contrecœur will return to the road on November 24 and 25 as well as on December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30 and will serve, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. at night, the populations of Calixa-Lavallée, Contrecœur, Varennes, Verchères and Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu. This was confirmed at a press conference by Ms. Nicole Coulombe, responsible for the 27th Operation Red Nose Contrecœur campaign.

This year, the campaign will take place under the honorary presidency of Xavier Barsalou-Duval, MP for Pierre-Boucher-Les Patriotes-Verchères.

Two power plants will be in operation: one located at 368, rue Chabot in Contrecœur at the Club Optimiste premises and the other in Varennes at Pro Immobilier et Hypothèque at 1463, boulevard Lionel-Boulet, room 105. The project manager of the Operation is the Optimist Club of Contrecœur.

In 2022, around a hundred volunteers got involved in the escort campaign and found a good way to serve the community. To be a volunteer, it’s simple: you have to fill out the dynamic form available on the national website www.operationnezrouge.com : select the province of Quebec and “Contrecoeur”.
