Operation Ordo Nasrid carries out one of its most important blows and seizes an arsenal of weapons and more than 7,000 cannabis plants

The Civil Guard has carried out one of the most important operations of how many are being carried out within the framework of the high-impact operation Ordo Nazarí, after discovering an arsenal of short weapons and ammunition in the hands of two drug traffickers who have been arrested in Santa Fe.

On this occasion, the Civil Guard has dismantled two marijuana production centers in the town of Santa Fe in which the agents nine pistols have been seized, five live fire, three detonators modified to fire live ammunition and one compressed air; more than 250 cartridges of different calibers; of 7,751 cannabis sativa plants, two kilos of marijuana and 9,000 euros in cash. Three people have been arrested for illegal possession of weapons, for a crime against public health for drug cultivation and trafficking, and for electricity fraud.

In this operation, as in all the previous ones, the Civil Guard discovered with the help of the technicians of the electrical supply company that there were fraudulent connections to the electrical network in two country houses in the town of Santa Feand suspecting that the people who lived in these homes could be intensively cultivating cannabis sativa, the Civil Guard searched them and not only discovered cannabis and marijuana plants, they also discovered money and a significant number of short weapons with ammunition and ready to fire, as well as ammunition for these weapons.

In the first farmhouse, the Civil Guard discovered that the detainee, a 47-year-old man, had a macro-center of marijuana plants with more than 7,200 plants and a cannabis sativa plantation with 551 plants in an advanced state of growth. The agents also discovered that he was hiding a BBM model 315 pistol, caliber 8 mm, with ammunition; a Browning detonator pistol modified to fire live 9 mm caliber ammunition and a compressed air pistol.

In the second farmhouse, the Civil Guard arrested a 58-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, after discovering several boxes and bags with almost two kilos of marijuana, and during the search they discovered a pistol in a drawer of the bedroom closet. detonator manipulated so that it could be fired with real fire, and in the drum of a washing machine five other weapons: a TAURUS brand revolver, Brazil model, caliber 357 magnum and a spare drum with ammunition; a LLAMA brand pistol, model MAX-II, caliber 9 mm; an old pistol, unknown make and model of 22 caliber; another detonating pistol rigged for live fire; a BLOW brand pistol, model MINI8, caliber 8mm, with loaded magazine and pistol of unknown make and model. They also discovered 98 .357 magnum caliber cartridges, 93 22 caliber cartridges, 50 9mm caliber cartridges and 4 25 caliber auto cartridges. And finally, in a stone oven outside the house the agents discovered that the detainees had hidden a glass jar with nine thousand euros.

In this farmhouse the Civil Guard discovered 50 Spanish fighting breed fighting cocks, 25 of whom had had their thighs shaved and their combs and stifles mutilated. The Seprona of the Civil Guard of Granada is investigating whether the owner has the veterinary certificates that cover said mutilations. If he does not own them, he will be investigated for an alleged crime of animal abuse.

This action by the Civil Guard is part of Operation Miller, an operation being carried out by the Civil Guard at the national level against the cultivation and illegal trafficking of marijuana.
