The Spanish shipping company Baleària has just enthusiastically announced a significant expansion of its transport services between Spain and Morocco for the summer operation “Marhaba 2024”. The company will now offer 15 daily connections with Morocco, representing an increase of 15% compared to the previous year. Additionally, more than 100 weekly connections are planned on the Tanger Med and Nador lines, demonstrating Baleària’s commitment to meeting growing passenger demand during this period.

“This expansion reflects Baleària’s desire to strengthen maritime ties between Spain and Morocco, while providing passengers with a comfortable and secure travel experience. Departures will be mainly from the port of Algeciras, highlighting the strategic importance of this sea route for travel between the two countries,” the Spanish company says, while specifying that in addition to reinforced maritime links , Baleària has also improved its on-board services to meet the specific needs of Moroccan passengers. The ships will be equipped with Arabic and French speaking agents, and will offer a range of adapted services, such as halal meals and spaces dedicated to prayer.

At the same time, Baleària has strengthened its customer service by setting up a call center with Arabic-speaking operators to respond effectively to passenger requests.
