Operation Ajay: 235 Indians Return from Israel in Second Special Flight

New Delhi: As part of ‘Operation Ajay’, 235 more people have returned from Israel in a second special flight. Among the returnees will be two cubs. An Air India flight that took off from Tel Aviv landed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport with Indian nationals on board. As part of ‘Operation Ajay’, 447 people have returned so far.

On Friday, 212 people, including seven Malayalis, were brought back to India in a special Air India flight. The central government announced ‘Operation Ajay’ on October 11 to evacuate Indians from the battlefield.

There are 18,000 Indians in Israel. Seventeen in Palestine. Most of the Indians stuck in Israel are care givers, students, IT workers and diamond traders who take care of the sick and elderly.
