Despite being officially unveiled by Huawei in September of last year, HarmonyOS 2 was officially available in June. This happened at an event where a lot of new equipment was unveiled.
Of course, Huawei has plans to bring this system of theirs to older equipment, both for theirs and for Honor’s. Now, from what has been revealed, this system is already available for 65 smartphones.
Huawei's bet on HarmonyOS seems to be an accomplished goal. With this proposal, the brand managed to have an alternative for its operating systems, without depending on any external entity or any government.
This operating system will be a presence on any branded device and proof of that came with the P50, with the Watch 3 and with MatePad 11. At the same time, the brand wants to bring HarmonyOS 2 to older smartphones and tablets.

The list presented above is own brand and reveals the devices that are already receiving HarmonyOS, albeit in a gradual and controlled way. As can be seen, it is not limited to smartphones e tablets of Huawei and also includes Honor itself.
Another interesting and important detail is that not only top smartphones are present. We have several mid-range proposals in mind, which shows the scope that this system will have, not limited to high-end devices.
Huawei's goals for Harmony OS are clear and well defined. You want to have your system on 100 million devices by the end of the year, in order to establish a relevant ecosystem with a lot of impact.
For now, and at least when it comes to updating smartphones, the Harmony OS is only being made available in China. Still, Huawei shows that it will have its system accessible to many smartphones when it launches globally.
