Operating revenues raise the profits of the Qatari “Nakilat” by 6.5%, and distribute 720 million riyals in cash for 2022


The net profits of Qatar Gas Transport Company “Nakilat” increased by the end of the year 2022 by 6.5% to reach 1.44 billion riyals, supported by an increase in revenues in joint venture companies by 40%, to about 690 million riyals, in addition to the growth in interest and dividend income to 94 million riyals. An increase of 300% from 2021.

The company’s profits declined in the fourth quarter of last year by 13.3% to reach about 304 million riyals, as a result of the increase in financing costs and the increase in general and administrative expenses.

The Board of Directors proposed distributing cash dividends to shareholders for the year 2022 at a rate of 13% of the nominal value of the share, with a total of 720 million riyals, which represents 50% of the full net profits for the year 2022.
