This Saturday, Bazoches-sur-le-Betz welcomes opera singer and actress Estelle Rabaud, for “The Black Swan”, a recital around Schubert. Having become an inventive and complete artist, this child from the Curtinian country will then offer a musical Christmas story, Saturday December 16.
“The Black Swan, a voice and piano duo, is a creation around fourteen pieces by Schubert mixed with my texts. The common thread is the love journey. On December 16, it will be a Christmas story, which I wrote, Mon Noël est rose, which combines opera, melody, lied and song. It allows children to discover lyrical singing,” says this former student of the Courtenay music school, who returned to Gâtinais after ten years of Parisian life.
“In Paris, I explored a vast repertoire, I performed great roles, such as Violetta in La Traviata,” explains the mezzo soprano with a powerful voice, who was also a singing teacher at Milly-la-Forêt and at the Pailletterie d’Amilly.
“From now on, I want to dig deeper in terms of creativity, to be more eclectic, and to choose the people with whom I work,” confides the artist, who likes to mix lyrical technique with variety singing and comedy.
