Krefeld The music theater ensemble, the Niederrhein Opera Studio, the Opera Choir and the Niederrhein Symphony Orchestra offer arias, ensembles and choirs from operas by Bellini, Donizetti, Rossini and Verdi.
(RP) For many years, highlights from various operas and operettas have been presented in the popular Festive Opera Gala, and mostly new talents have also been presented. Each gala has a specific motto. This year the title is “Viva Belcanto!” Cascades at the highest heights, brilliantly rapid tempos and crazy garlands of decoration show what an opera voice can achieve. Belcanto highlights are at the center of the opera gala, which will be presented on December 18 in Krefeld and on December 19 in Mönchengladbach.

The music theater ensemble, the Niederrhein Opera Studio, the Opera Choir and the Niederrhein Symphony Orchestra perform well-known arias, ensembles and choirs from operas by Vincenzo Bellini, Gaëtano Donizetti, Gioacchino Rossini and Giuseppe Verdi. The new 1. Kapellmeister Yorgos Ziavras takes over the musical direction, general director Michael Grosse leads through the program.
