Media Apparat, Habegger Austria and Lichtermacher have set up the Virtual Production Studio Vienna in the Gösserhalle in Vienna, which is to create new opportunities in the areas of film, streaming and events with modern technologies. For example, there is a 270-degree film set, high-resolution LED walls and camera tracking on 5,200 square meters. “The Virtual Production Studio Vienna not only offers production companies numerous new opportunities, but also creates a new platform for virtual conferences, interactive product presentations or 3D animations,” explains Andreas Göltl, CEO at Media Apparat.
With virtual reality and augmented reality solutions, lighting conditions can be corrected or times of day can be simulated. With real-time camera tracking, the background adapts physically and in perspective to the movements in front of it. “With the new media technology in connection with an interactive gaming engine, motion capture and the connection to high-end media servers, new sets can be created in a matter of seconds. With this combination we offer completely new opportunities for the Austrian and international market, ”explains Stefan Kurzel, CEO at Lichtermacher.
