It is the culmination of three years of work and a public-private partnership. On Tuesday, September 10, the first fertility center in Corsica was inaugurated at the Bastia hospital.
A center equipped with cutting-edge technologies in in vitro fertilization. Here, the system is ultra sophisticated and secure to avoid any allocation errors. Once the oocyte is fertilized, you have to wait five days for the embryo to be fertilized.
In addition to in vitro fertilization, the center also carries out conservation of gamettes and oocytes for medical reasons.
The first patients will be received next week. About forty couples are already waiting.
