The book “Hidden Life. Homosexual Diaries 1927 – 1949 ”is a collection of diaries of the seaman Kaspars Aleksandrs Irbe from 1927 to 1949, which is an important evidence of the era, documenting not only documented everyday scenes and political events, but also describing romantic, criminally punished adventures during the Soviet years.
