Prime Minister Raymond Ndong Sima chaired this Wednesday, December 27, 2023, the opening of the statistics dissemination days.
Organized by the General Directorate of Statistics (DGS), under the supervision of the Ministry of the Economy and Participations, the statistical dissemination days began today under the theme “Zoom on dissemination for better visibility of statistics”. The objective is to publicize the missions of the Directorate General of Statistics.
During his opening speech, Prime Minister and Head of Government Raymond Ndong Sima recalled that the statistics are “a decision support tool“. But they are still little or poorly known to the Gabonese. He invited producers and users of statistics to be more rigorous in the collection, processing and analysis of data as well as “to more active collaboration with all administrations and all technical and financial partners concerned by statistical issues“. He indicates.
