The twentieth Dutch Veterans Day started with the opening ceremony within the Royal Theatre, within the presence of HM the King, outgoing Prime Minister Mark Rutte, outgoing Minister of Defence Kasja Ollongren, different dignitaries and authorities, veterans and different visitors. A private and particular story was advised by Chief Warrant Officer Dayrohn Wiesken.
The musical assist was supplied by the Royal Navy Band ‘Johan Willem Friso’ led by chief conductor Frans-Aert Burghgraef, along with performances by Anneke van Giersbergen, veteran Dennis Kroon and veteran Joe Tenessee along with the prize winners of the Children Competitors.
