The report said that the “Orion” model within OpenAI is being viewed as the next version of the popular GPT-4 model, but it is not yet clear whether the company will call it “GPT-5” when announced.
OpenAI and Microsoft declined to comment on this news, and an official spokesperson for the company told TechCrunch that this report was “erroneous” without providing additional details.
