Until now, “ChatGPT” and other artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots have mostly been used by private users to obtain information for personal purposes. On the other hand, companies, fearing for the security and privacy of their business data, have used this type of tools rarely and very cautiously. Taking into account these concerns and at the same time the need for an AI chatbot in the business environment as well, OpenAI has decided to offer a new version of ChatGPT, ChatGPT Enterprise, aimed at enterprises.
OpenAI states that ChatGPT Enterprise offers a higher level of security and privacy, as well as unlimited and fast access to ChatGPT Enterprise’s built-in AI model, GPT-4. Also, companies will receive more powerful data analysis capabilities, as well as be able to ask the AI chatbot more complex questions tailored to their business.
OpenAI also explains that so far, companies have been reluctant to use AI chatbots due to concerns about privacy and data security. Specifically, there have been concerns that their data could be used to train “ChatGPT” and that sensitive customer information could be exposed to AI models. However, OpenAI reassures that ChatGPT Enterprise users will have control over their data and it will not be used for GPT training.
Currently, the first companies can already use the capabilities provided by ChatGPT Enterprise, but the new tool will reach more business customers in the “coming weeks”. Also, “OpenAI” informs that “ChatGPT Enterprise” will soon offer more features, such as advanced data analysis tools. No less important, the price of using “ChatGPT Enterprise” will be determined depending on the size of the company.
