OpenAI, the developer of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot ChatGPT, has announced that it will hold its first developer conference, OpenAI DevDay, on November 6. The company informs that at this event it will demonstrate the latest tools and innovations, as well as offer a platform for developers that will allow cooperation with “OpenAI” specialists.
Both lectures and demonstrations will take place at the conference, covering such topics as natural language processing, computer vision, code generation, etc. Also, participants will have the opportunity to preview the latest functions and capabilities of the “OpenAI” API, which provides access to the company’s most advanced AI models. For now, it is unlikely that “OpenAI” could present its latest AI model “GPT-5” during this event. In April, company CEO Sam Altman revealed that OpenAI is not yet training GPT-5 and won’t be for some time.
Although OpenAI DevDay is mostly planned as an in-person event, some parts of the conference will also be available to watch remotely. The company also informs that registration for the event will open in the coming weeks, and the number of visitors is expected to reach several hundred.
