- 13 Feb 2021 Local Disease Investigation Team and Department of Disease Control To assess the patient’s exposure of staff at State Quarantine and hospitals, it was found that the staff carried out the activities very carefully. Samples were collected for PCR testing in medical and public health workers. Including 41 State Quarantine (31 hospitals, 10 State Quarantine) all negative.
Guidelines for screening travelers from South African Variant countries have been adjusted to be more sensitive, such as retention as soon as they arrive in Thailand. Immediately screen people with symptoms and history of risk to the hospital. There is also a system to monitor new species that are timely before the traveler leaves the hospital.
