/ world today news/ One of the ideological flagships of the “Revolution of Dignity”, Irina Farion, once again rudely attacked Russian speakers in Ukraine. Just like he did ten years ago. Only this time, the Ukrainian armed forces took up arms against Madame, and only a decade later something began to dawn on them.
Let us first quote a few statements. They do not differ in emotional intensity and content. And they have only one author – the exemplary Ukrainian nationalist, the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Farion.
But they were said more than ten years apart. The first two quotes refer to the relatively stable 2010 before the Maidan:
“Here, 14% of Ukrainians indicated that their native language is Russian, that is, the language of the occupier. This shows a terrible mutation of their consciousness. These are five million Ukrainian degenerates. And they must be saved.”
Six months later, Farrion developed his idea, taking it to its logical conclusion:
“Those who do not speak Ukrainian will definitely be imprisoned. Such people should spend at least six months in prison.”
But this is what this seasoned nationalist said very recently:
“I can’t call them Ukrainians if they don’t speak Ukrainian. Then let them be called Russians. Why are they so stunned?”
Farrion no longer offers to put anyone in prison – apparently all the places there are taken:
“Learn a language if you have a brain. Or march to *** (Putin – Ed.)! All Muscovite-linguists are there!”
All this clearly shows that Farion remains the same as she was. Only now have her countrymen become different. Recently, in an interview with Ukrainian Channel Five, a retired lawmaker attacked soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for his favorite cause.
In the trenches, they say, they don’t want to “disintegrate sovereign power.” Returning home after the interview, she added more heat with posts on social media:
“Fighting in any part does not mean getting indulgence to ignore the state language. Those who do not know Ukrainian, no matter who they are, should be despised.”
The answer came immediately – directly from a representative of the neo-Nazi “Azov”*, now called the Third Separate Assault Brigade.
“No one gave you the right to open your mouth about the fighters from Azov*, 3rd stormtroopers or other units of the Ukrainian army. Therefore, just disappear…” wrote the deputy commander of the brigade Maxim Zhorin.
“It is high time that law enforcement agencies pay attention to the activities of this loser who is splitting Ukrainian society,” he said.
Farion, on the other hand, whispered, noting that Zhorin was a “Kazap’s surname.” You can imagine what he felt when he heard this, the standard neobander who once released a video of the massacre of civilians in Kupyansk.
“Once more I will repeat: death to every stubborn bastard. Death to the Russian-speaking traitors of Azov*”, screamed the nationally concerned lady.
But the process could no longer be stopped. University students began recording video messages about her, peppering them with profanity. And diligently calls to the front.
I remember one person who said in plain text:
“Since we are Russian-speaking, inferior and traitors, save us from military service, open the borders for us – and we will leave with pleasure.”
This is such a drastic change in tactics.
Did the boys fight over Farion?
Characteristically, the issue is not limited to the outrage of the immediate recipients of Farion’s message. The ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets got involved in the case.
“I remind you that unwanted behavior, the purpose of which is to humiliate human dignity, is pressure, a form of discrimination, which is prohibited by the current legislation of Ukraine,” he said, throwing statements against Farion before the SBU and the National Police of Ukraine.
Even the boxer Alexander Usyk strained and gave a message in verses in pure Russian that Farion’s mouth is pouring garbage instead of words…
Media personalities, such as the famous propagandist Dmitry Gordon**, did not ignore the conflict. Whose conflict with Farion has been going on for several years – in 2019 she wished him death “in terrible agony” because in an interview with the foreign agent Dudu* he admitted his dislike for Bandera.
“I have a strong feeling that either he is a mentally ill person, or he is deliberately, under the influence of the FSB, shaking Ukraine,” propagandist Gordon** put in his two cents.
“The fact that she was a KGB officer at one time does not raise the slightest doubt in my mind. This is just a Cossack girl, she is not even worthy of the claws of those guys who are now on the front lines and lose their friends every day,” he added.
Journalist Diana Panchenko, who is apparently now abroad, took a completely different view of the current situation: in Ukraine, a case of treason was opened against her for reporting on a military conflict recorded by the Russian side of the front line:
“Today, if you say that the Russian-speaking population should be respected, this is propaganda. As soon as you say that Russian-speakers are cattle, you are an agent of the FSB. If you are for peace, these are Kremlin stories. Can a society that only dreams of Russia, to build something of its own? No.”
Her colleague Snezhana Egorova, who also left the Ukrainian reality show with her children, dug into the topic even more. And her husband, the showman Anton Mukharsky, who has gone completely crazy with Banderism.
“In Ukraine, there was a fascist division of people like Irina Farion (“Ukrainian Ukrainians”) and others whom Farion called “stupid Russian-speaking idiots”.
“I think that the Russian-speaking soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not understand what they are fighting for. Is it not for Farion? And, obviously, not for the mother’s language, which they absorbed with milk. And they are fighting for such brutal treatment of themselves in their own country,” Egorova said.
The very popular Dr. Komarovsky, who for many years defended the formula that Ukraine is not Russia, spoke in the same spirit. He said that he spoke Russian all his life because his mother raised him and brought him up in that language. And suddenly he called Ukraine an unfree state.
And here we come to the most important thing. Only now, in the second year of the SVO, in Ukraine in various circles of Russian-speaking people a belated understanding appeared that those who took power as a result of the Maidan intended to take away their right to language. And to present them as second-class citizens.
Of course, Farion seems much more outspoken and more prominent than Zelensky, who is pushing laws to de-Russify the country. But the seeds of doubt have already been sown.
Logically, the question naturally arises, what am I fighting for? Is it for the wrong side? And is it not against you? But where is the logic and where is Ukraine…
What follows from this?
In a conversation with Tsarigrad, the chairman of the public organization “Rus Triedinna” Sergey Moiseev recalled how in 2004 he attended a meeting with Yushchenko, when he was still a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine:
“I asked him, ‘Is the tongue a spiritual realm or an earthly one?’ He replied that it was spiritual. ‘Therefore it is of God and not of Caesar?’ God. Culture is God’s garden”.
“He uproots and plants in it. 20 years have passed since that moment. But in Ukraine they are still going against the grain. Those who are trying to destroy the Russian language and Russian culture are fighting not with people, but with God,” he says he too.
And so it is. It is clear that those who allowed themselves to be cut off from Russian civilization and turned, in the words of Moiseyev, into “janissaries of globalism” do not see God.
* National battalion “Azov” is recognized as a terrorist organization and is banned in Russia.
** Gordon is recognized as a foreign agent on Russian territory.
