Open Stage: Showcasing Young Musicians in Andrejosta Quarter – August 18-19

This weekend, August 18 and 19, there will be two usual stages in the Andrejosta quarter and next to them a specially designed “Open Stage” stage, on which young musicians will have the opportunity to perform and show their creative musical potential for two days.

This will be the second event organized by Andrejosta Quartal (AOK) in cooperation with the multi-platform of the entertainment industry “Vincent Entertainment”. This year’s innovation is the open stage or “Open Stage”. It is planned that several dozen artists will perform on this stage during Friday and Saturday. To take advantage of this opportunity, musicians must apply in advance by contacting AOK and submitting their demo recording with a description of themselves (info@vinc-ent.com). There are no stylistic restrictions for participants, both solo artists and groups can participate.

“Each season, we receive more and more requests from young musicians to give us the opportunity to perform in the Andrejosta quarter. We are delighted with this interest and the fact that young talents see AOK as a springboard to get noticed, so we will open a two-day “Open Stage”. It will be an opportunity for everyone who is brave enough to stand in front of both the public and professional producers to show themselves. Perhaps we will hear new rising stars, because under the umbrella of “Vincent Entertainment” more than one well-known voice has grown up,” hopes AOK developer Dāvis Čīma.

In the end, the organizers of the event will choose the best ones, who will have the opportunity to record and produce compositions in cooperation with “Vincent Entertainment”. “Our goal is to notice and help develop those who really deserve to be on stage. The world is open and young talents can also show themselves using social networks, but the most real experience, exchange of emotions and energy is provided by the opportunity to be on a real stage and see your audience. It has inspired and motivated anyone pursuing music on a serious level. We can help pave this way to international brands by creating quality records,” emphasizes Rolands Priverts, representative of the “Vincent Entertainment” platform.

It should be noted that a number of well-known domestic artists – Vultura, JL Kalmann, Loreta Reide, Miks Dukurs, Saule, Just, Krisy and Palu – will perform on the two main stages on the mentioned days, as well as Moriento from South Africa, Adrian Duran from the USA, Dacian from of Germany and Eliza Ind of Great Britain.
