PO TO PHOTOMETRIA PHOTOGRAPHY CENTER
The Photometria Photography Center (PPC) announces the 2nd call for photographic proposals to organize a group exhibition entitled “Her”.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, the aim of the exhibition is to highlight the feminine side in all its roles, in all its forms and situations. We wish there to be an in-depth exploration of gender identity, the female body with its multiple meanings in family life, work, sexuality and self-representation.
Call duration: 20 January – 18 February 2024
Cost: Free
Participation right
All photographers (professional amateurs) have the right to participate, regardless of age, nationality and nationality. The minimum age limit is 18 years, while each participant has the right to submit one photo.
Choice, place & duration of exhibition
The selection will be made by the PPC team and will be announced through its Social Media accounts. The exhibition will take place 8-31/3/24 at the PPC site (21her February 184).
Terms of participation
Photographers should send via WeTransfer to [email protected] no later than February 18, 2024 the following:
- Name and surname
- Their image in the highest possible resolution. The name of the photo should be in the form: NAME_LAST_NAME.jpg
Photographers whose works will be selected for the exhibition and the catalog will be asked to pay the amount of €50 which covers the production of the works, the catalog and the running costs of the exhibition. After the end of the exhibition, the selected photographers will be able to receive from PPC their photo as it has been exhibited.
Selected photographers grant PPC the right to have their photographs published in the exhibition and in any promotion of their work, including in all print formats.
Photographs from the exhibition will remain at PPC after the end of the exhibition for a period of 30 days for photographers to collect their works. After 30 days the works will be destroyed.
If photographers are unable to receive their works, they can be sent to them at their own expense.
Exhibition photos can be offered for sale by the photographers themselves and not by PPC.
Copyright
Image copyright remains the property of the image creator / photographer. By entering the contest, the photographer warrants that he is the creator and owner of the work, that he has the permission of the subject, that the works do not infringe the rights of others (including the rights of privacy, abuse, harassment, misleading conduct, disclosure, publicity or copyright) .
Acceptance of terms
By participating in the competition, the photographer confirms that he has taken note of the above and fully accepts all the conditions of participation.
