The construction sites of the One Giga Italy plan for the Lombardy: Open fiberwhich was awarded eight lots of the fifteen tendered by Infratel Italyhas started work on the territories of Arese (Me), Cesano Maderno (MB), Corsica (Me), cream (Cr), Cusano Milanino (Me), Limbiate (MB), Offense (Cr), Paderno Dugnano (Me), Rozzano (Me), St Julian Milanese (Mi), for a total of about 3,500 street numbers that will be connected to the a ultra long band. In addition, 2 other construction sites will soon be opened in the cities of Basiglio (I) and Varese.
The one-giga Italy plan
The one-giga Italy digitization project is the plan financed with funds from the Pnnr to wire areas not covered by at least one network capable of providing download connection speeds equal to or greater than 300 Mbit/s. It concerns a total of 3,881 Municipalities in 9 Regions for the total coverage of 3.9 million house numbers by 2026.

The contribution of the Lombardy Region
