Due to the corona crisis, the thirtieth edition of Voka Open Company Day will take place completely digitally this year. For several weeks, people have been able to visit dozens of companies virtually. Today / Sunday there is the Virtual Day, on which interested parties receive an exclusive virtual tour of a number of large companies.

This year’s anniversary edition of Open Company Day is all about digital transformation. Because of the corona crisis, no physical visits can take place. “We have made a virtue of necessity and fully focused on virtual visits”, the organization says.
Anyone who wants to discover a company from “his room” can do so via www.openbedrijvendagvirtueel.be. There, interested parties have been getting a unique virtual insight into 33 companies for a while. These include PXL Hogeschool, Ostend Police, Bozar Brussels and Center Parcs Vossemeren.
Today / Sunday is the highlight. During the Virtual Day, Xavier Taveirne guides people virtually between 9.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. along several companies: Roularta Media Group, Belgian Navy, Stokerij Rubbens, Police Zone Rupel, Bellewaerde, the Belgian Center for Guide Dogs and Skeyes. Flemish Minister of Economy, Work and Innovation Hilde Crevits (CD&V) will officially open the Voka Open Company Day Virtual Day.
