Open Book, meetings and workshops for children in Salerno

A program tailored for young readers, presentations, meetings, workshops and events, with an exceptional literary competition at its centre: the third edition of Open Book – Children’s Literature Festival, in a new “spring” look. Students, teachers, families and enthusiasts, in fact, will gather from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th April in the CUS spaces of the University of Salerno – Baronissi headquarters, to give life to the event which in recent years has become one of the points of reference in the sector cultural and literary kids, teen & young adult.

There will be four juries – Zaira, Zoe, Zenobia and Zobeide – which will involve 750 jurors aged 7 to 19: the heart of the event is Open Book Awardaccompanied by events and appointments that will range from environmental sustainability to technological innovations applied to teaching, without neglecting topics such as sport, reading education, road safety, as well as the future in the world of work for younger people.

Leading the appointments, together with the hostess of the event Angela AlbaranoAlso Marta Pepe, Tecla Iervoglinithe “Itinerant Reader” Simonetta Biteie the writer Manlio Castagna. Many important names are involved in this third edition, starting with the authors in competition Nadia Terranova, Ariela Rizzi, Fabrizio Silei, Marco Cattaneo, Benedetta Bonfiglioli, Francesco Ramilli, Enrico Galiano, Silvia Vecchini, Sabrina Efionayi, Espérance Hakuzwimana, Alessandro Q. Ferrari, Valentina Sagnibene and Daniela Palumboin addition to the participation of Chiara Lorenzoni, Marco Magnone, Angelo Coscia and young newcomers Manuel Risi, Nicolas Pagliara and Rossella Mauriello.

Finally, the Food Experience container of Libro Aperto Festival returns again this year, for tasty interludes and moments of food&beverage breaks dedicated to guests and partners organized by Azienda Agricola Guerritore, Corporate Butcher’s Rinaldi, Pastry Shop “Salute e Benessere”, Iasa, Caseificio Annalisa, Catering – Emaiuscola Eventi, Casa Villari in Baronissi, Mediterranean Diet Exhibition and Conad of Baronissi.
