The physical store of AliExpress in Parc Central will be offline and totally independent of the page web. «That is, it will not be possible to generate orders or collect them, nor make management of issues online», explains the deputy manager of Parc Central, Toni Renom, who adds that «the brand will sell a representation of AliExpress’s most popular and iconic products».
There will be a bit of everything. From electronic items to gadgetsgoing through licensed products, such as Disney, Mr. Wonderful or Marvel, among others.
The line of physical points of sale are called AliExpress Plaza, according to the Asian giant on its page web, where it is ensured that “you can find a wide variety of products of different types, very useful for day to day”.
It will be the second physical establishment in the demarcation, since it opened in Reus last December. In the rest of Catalonia, AliExpress has a store in the La Maquinista shopping center in Barcelona, in Gran Via 2 in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, in the Finestrelles complex in Esplugues and, finally, in Granollers.
Almost 100% occupancy
Parc Central is now close to 100% occupancy, following the trend of the last three years. Currently only two premises remain unoccupied. One will open in a matter of a month, under the Tío Bigotes brand. It will be located right at the entrance of the shopping center, where the Enrique Tomás restaurant used to be. The other local, located on the sidewalk of Rituals, will also raise the blind shortly, although the business has not yet been made public.
«Parc Central is, without a doubt, the first option for all brands that seek to establish themselves in our demarcation. The reason is that it is a very consolidated center, with more than 25 years of life and with well-known brands as anchors that attract attention”, Renom concludes.
