Thanks to the support of Volksbank an der Niers, Kevelaer Marketing is once again inviting people to a free open-air cinema in the St. Jakob salt garden. The film “Eingeschlossene Gesellschaft” will be shown on the screen from 9 p.m. Everyone simply brings their own seating – whether a picnic blanket or garden chair. You can also bring your own food to this special cinema evening. The “Basilika Stübchen” also provides tasty snacks and fresh popcorn for a tasty snack and cool drinks.
German comedy strains the laugh muscles
On a Friday afternoon, just before the weekend, there is a knock on the door of the teachers’ room at the Rudi Dutschke High School. Still present are the popular sports teacher Peter Mertens, the hated music teacher Heidi Lohmann, the guidance counselor Holger Arndt, the chemistry teacher Bernd Vogel, the conservative Latin teacher Klaus Engelhardt and the young trainee teacher Sarah Schuster. At the door is an ambitious father who wants at all costs to ensure that his son has the chance to take the Abitur. For the next few hours, the teachers are now locked up, revealing the pitfalls of the German education system and making some embarrassing revelations in front of the teachers. The film offers a nice break from everyday life, which can simply be forgotten on this evening.
