Wolfsburg. Open-air cinema: Current films will be shown on the Allersee on two weekends in August. What visitors need to know.
Open-air cinema: This year’s open-air beach cinema by Wolfsburg Wirtschaft und Marketing GmbH (WMG) at Allersee will take place on August 23rd and 24th and August 30th and 31st. Visitors can expect an open-air cinema experience, as the WMG reports. Admission is free.

According to the announcement, current film highlights will be shown: On Friday, August 23, cinema fans can look forward to the German comedy “Chantal in Fairytale Land”. On Saturday, August 24, the US comic book adaptation “Aquaman: Lost Kingdom” will provide excitement. The following weekend, on Friday, August 30, the animated feature film “Inside Out 2” will be shown. The action film “Planet of the Apes: New Kingdom” will conclude the program on Saturday, August 31.

The performances will start after dusk at around 8:45 p.m., it continues. The screen will be on the sandy beach on the north shore and visitors can make themselves comfortable in deck chairs or on benches.
Due to a limited number of seats, you can also bring your own chairs or blankets, says the WMG. Food and drink will be provided. If you arrive by car, there are parking spaces in the Allerpark available.
“This year, cinema fans can once again look forward to shared film evenings in the unique setting of our beautiful Allersee,” says Frank Hitzschke, Head of City Management at WMG. “The open-air beach cinema at Allersee has now become firmly established in Wolfsburg’s summer calendar and we are delighted that it has received such positive feedback.
