The current generation Opel Astra has been on the market since 2015 and although it underwent a slight facelift in 2019, it is time for the German brand to show something new. It seems that this will become a fact in the coming months, as the company hinted at the emergence of a new model with several frames.
Although we do not see the overall design of the car, we can note some of the biggest differences we will find with the current generation. We see the so-called Vizor front with the already typical LED headlights and grille, which are also found in the updated Mokka, which we tested recently.
–The shots also show a new model designation in the rear, which, like the Volkswagen Group models, will be written in the middle, just below the emblem. Judging by the other models of the brand, most likely the overall design will have much sharper lines than before, although it retains the traditional shape of a hatchback.

There will also be a lot of novelties in the interior, one of which is the incorporation of the two screens, also similar to those of the Mokka. They are 10 and 12 inches in size, and the one in the center is slightly curved towards the driver. There is still no mention of the drivetrain of the new Astra, but it is expected to be similar to that of the new Peugeot 308, and we will certainly see at least one electrified version.
