Opel Corsa: It’s time for a facelift

The Opel Corsa is a successful small car, which can look back on a career of over 40 years. The current generation, released in 2019, has established itself as the best-selling in its segment in markets of several countries. But to stay on the breach it needs a “refreshed”, which will arrive next year when the manufacturer will bring a series of interventions to this model.

The renewed version of the Opel Corsa will adopt a new front in line with that of the other models of the German house (our drawing above), with a grille that incorporates both the logo and the headlights within the same element. The latter will be able to count on a new design of the lights. At the rear, new lettering is expected, which extends across the entire width of the tailgate, and taillights with a brand new light design.

In the plank should arrive wide panel glossy black taken from the Mokka crossover (with which the mechanics are shared), which incorporates the digital dashboard and the multimedia system screen.

The technical basis of Vauxhall Corsa 2023 it will always remain the same as the car currently on the market, which uses the CMP platform (the same as the Peugeot 208). As for the range of engines, the 131 HP 1.2 turbo mild hybrid 48 V and an upgrading of the engine of the electric version of the Corsa, which goes from 136 to 156 HP are expected: it is the same as the Peugeot e-208, powered from a 48 kWh battery, for an estimated range of around 400 km. The diesel versions could disappear.

It will arrive at the dealership from April 2023 with a price of around 19,000 euros.
