OPECA: The 18 benefits paid tomorrow – The amounts, the beneficiaries –

The support to more than 1.2 million citizens, announced the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sofia Zaharakis, in an interview on a television show, as tomorrow, November 29, OPECA benefits, totaling 304,701,154 euros, will be paid through the regular payment.

At the same time, on December 20, the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family will pay the extraordinary benefits to the beneficiaries of OPECA’s Disability Allowance, to uninsured senior citizens, to the beneficiaries of the child benefit, who will receive an additional installment and to the beneficiaries of the Minimum Guaranteed Income, who will receive an additional 50% of the monthly allowance.

It is noted that OPECA’s extraordinary benefits are included in the total support package, which the government has announced in the amount of 243 million euros, benefiting more than 1.9 million citizens.

Also, the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family announced the launch of the training and employment program for 10,000 unemployed people who receive the Minimum Guaranteed Income.

“On Monday, the invitation will go out for 10,000 unemployed people who receive the Minimum Guaranteed Income and are registered with DYPA. The program, financed with 150 million euros from the Recovery Fund, provides for an 80-hour training and education program for which the trainees will receive 400 euros, while they will also continue to receive the Minimum Guaranteed Income. Immediately afterwards, businesses of all kinds, small, medium and large, will be able to hire the unemployed for a year. The Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family will cover both salary and non-salary costs. For one year, this person will have a salary that reaches 1,118 euros gross and will have an excellent opportunity for stable work, as long as it naturally fits the needs and profile of the company,” said Ms. Zaharaki.

Also, on the occasion of the signing of a program contract with the University of Western Attica for the development of a teacher training program and parent counseling for very young children in nurseries and daycare centers, the minister referred to a wide program of interventions.

“2025 will be the year that you will see many innovations and interventions in the part of nurseries and children’s centers, in the education of the people who give their lives for children between the ages of 0 and 4 and of course in the counseling and training of parents » emphasized Mrs. Zaharaki.

Finally, he announced that within the next year, a parent counseling program for teenagers will be run in collaboration with the Municipalities. As he said, “In this phase, we are specializing through NSRP in counseling parents on the issues of adolescence, on the issues of pre-adolescence, delinquency, issues of the internet, and all the issues that parents want to be informed about”.

The benefits that will be paid for the month of November, to 1,234,720 beneficiaries, for a total amount of 304,701,154 euros, specifically concern:

  1. Child benefit: beneficiaries 579,994 – 114,822,184 euros
  2. Housing Benefit: beneficiaries 211,382 – 25,592,483 euros
  3. Minimum Guaranteed Income: beneficiaries 180,281 – 41,889,461 euros
  4. Disability: beneficiaries 191,905 – 88,093,238 euros
  5. Housing Benefit: beneficiaries 588 – 204,035 euros
  6. Homogenous Allowance: beneficiaries 5,378 – 189,256 euros
  7. Allowance for Uninsured Seniors, n. 1296/1982: beneficiaries 13,952 – 5,245,097 euros
  8. Social Solidarity Allowance for Seniors: beneficiaries 20,040 – 9,064,217 euros
  9. Funeral expenses: beneficiaries 75 – 59,722 euros
  10. Birth Benefit: beneficiaries 10,236 – 13,410,950 euros
  11. Mountain and disadvantaged areas allowance: beneficiaries 2,089 – 1,023,600 euros
  12. Red Loans: beneficiaries 3,481 – 287,041 euros
  13. Protected children of those who died in natural disasters: beneficiaries 23-23,000 euros
