The Sunday morning duel at the Androv Stadium was decided by Zifčák at the beginning of the second half with a converted penalty. The Slezans did not show much, they were literally useless in some places and deservedly lost 0:1.

The match at the Androv Stadium started cautiously, it can be said that there were no big offensive maneuvers in the first half. On the Opava side, Málek tried to threaten Digaňa from a standard situation, but his attempt flew over. In the 28th minute, one of the visiting players slipped, the ball was seized by Israel, who grabbed it and sent a good shot at the goalkeeper Richter. Fortunately, the visiting goalkeeper dealt with her.

The Opava B team won, Robin Hendrych scored the winner

After the break, the spectators were treated to a goal. In the 51st minute, there was a foul in the Opava penalty area and referee Bělák ordered a penalty kick. Zifčák opposed his execution. Goalkeeper Richter caught the direction of his shot, but he did not reach the home striker’s strong attempt – 1:0. Opava tried to answer. After Kopečný’s cross, Rataj got to the end, his attempt was blocked for a corner. But that was all. On the contrary, Sigma could increase its lead, but it did not come to Richter. In the end, the spectators didn’t get any more goals.

“We didn’t handle the match physically or mentally,” Opava coach Miloslav Brožek admitted after the match. “We should have confirmed a good performance against Sparta. We didn’t succeed. It was tired. In the first half, Sigma was clearly the better team, we were slow. Only the good organization of the game kept us in the game,” noted the Slezan coach. After the break, Hanáci scored a goal from the penalty spot. “Unnecessary penalty for me. We executed ourselves. We were not well adjusted. Our game was stiff and nervous,” Miloslav Brožek was disappointed.
